Overview

This qualification will benefit anyone in a work environment as it raises candidates’ awareness of the concept of risk assessment. It is designed to help improve the workplace culture for occupational health and safety by enabling candidates to understand the basic principles of risk assessment, as well as giving candidates the ability to contribute to the process and act always to protect own health and safety and that of others.

Who Should Attend?

The course is designed for anyone with a responsibility to conduct risk assessments. It is particularly useful for managers and supervisors but it will be equally beneficial to individual workers, team leaders, technicians, engineers or any other personnel contributing to the risk assessment process.

Results and Outcomes: Candidates will obtain an accredited CIEH Certificate which is valid for 3 years, awarded on successful completion.

Assessment: Multiple Choice paper consisting of 30 multiple choice questions

Venue: Flexible – open courses at our venues, or client’s venue anywhere in UK

Progression: CIEH Level 3 Intermediate Health & Safety, Level 3 Risk Assessment Principles and Practice.
