Overview

Both the Health and Safety at Work Act and Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations require employers to ensure the safety of their employees, and put in place arrangements to deal with conflict and aggression in the workplace.

This training course equips staff with skills and techniques for dealing with violence and aggression in the workplace, and helps to develop a pro-active approach towards workplace aggression.

Who should attend?

The course is designed for staff dealing with the public, or demanding and difficult customers who frequently present sensitive enquiries or complaints. It is also for ideal for frontline staff who may be at risk from violence and aggression, e.g. staff who visit clients in their homes, public sector employees and care workers.
